Stages (1997-98): all-original. Recorded four songs for an EP; three of them were completed at Action City Records in Texas, OH (Engineer: Pete). Major career move: winning a spot in the 1997 Toledo Battle of the Bands and playing a perfect 29-minute, 59-second set (penalties for exceeding the 30-minute time limit). Unfortunately, they placed second to a freakish performance art band that went a half hour overtime, exhibited disgusting behavior, paused the show for 15 minutes in the middle of their set to complain about the microphone problems, and broke up six weeks later.
